Monday Morning Happy

As I sit here watching the snowflakes fall outside my office window I keep reminding myself today is the first day of SPRING! Inside I am jumping around like this little red headed girl, dreaming of carefree  days with warmer weather and bright sunshine to make me happy! I love the idea of lazy weekends watching little ones play baseball and enjoying long hours with my book in the hammock!

The perfect spring table!

After starting off the week with 3 straight days of rain equaling 10" the end of the wee rewarded us with AMAZING 60 degree weather! It's incredible how quickly ones mood can change with the weather. With tomorrow being the first day of Spring (can you hear me jumping up and down? I made it through another winter!!) I thought what better way to celebrate than with this gorgeous tablescape. I came across this over at Once Wed and immediately fell in love, isn't it just pure relaxed perfection? I especially love the colorful quilt laying across the bench!

A lovely addition to a picnic menu would be this delicious raspberry treat from the Fresh New England blog. If you have not been over to visit El's scrumptious baked goods than run over but I warn you your mouth will water!
